CALGARY FIRE U18 AA WHITE

Austin will be in his first season as a head coach with the Calgary Fire program after serving as an assistant coach with the U15 AA Fire White for the previous three seasons.  Austin brings a development-focused approach to coaching that aims to keep athletes playing hockey for as long as possible, at the highest level possible.  Throughout Austin's hockey career he was a member of the U18AAA Calgary Buffaloes (AMHL), the Calgary Mustangs (AJHL) and the Seattle thunderbirds (WHL).  He is a Mac's Midget tournament Champion and a TELUS Cup Finalist.

Austin's coaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and motivating environment where players feel empowered and eager to improve. He emphasizes the importance of personal growth, teamwork and love for the game, believing that these elements are crucial for long term success in hockey an in life.
