Girls Hockey Calgary Association (GHC) is pleased to announce Calgary-based company FRESH BRAND GEAR as our primary supplier of hockey equipment and apparel for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.

GHC teams and families will be able to purchase Jr Inferno and Calgary Fire gear through an online store, administered by FBG, featuring top quality brands at competitive prices. FBG will also work directly with the Association to provide official team jerseys, socks (socks!) and custom Calgary Fire equipment. We are excited for our members to enjoy the benefits of this new partnership and will have more information as the season approaches!

About Our RFP Process

Earlier this year, GHC issued a Request For Proposal (GHC 2020-001) for a preferred equipment and apparel provider. GHC received several submissions, all of which were thoroughly reviewed by a selection committee. Submissions were evaluated based on qualitative factors (including, but not limited to, cost, product availability, professionalism and references); the location and availability of the provider to our members; and the overall ability of the provider to meet the needs of the Association and its members.
