Samm Holmes-Domagala selected as national winner for Hockey Canada BFL Female Coach of the Year!
Congratulations to Samm Holmes-Domagala, national winner of Canada’s BFL Female Coach of the Year!
Samm is a parent and Head Coach with GHC, as well as our Director of Coaching and coordinator of our First Strides and skill development programs.
The award is selected by Hockey Canada and BFL Canada and recognizes the best women’s hockey coaches in Canada. Samm was also Alberta’s provincial winner for BFL Female Community Coach of the Year.
The selection committee, which included Cassie Campbell-Pascall, Gina Kingsbury, Caroline Ouellette, Steve Lacoste (vice-president of sports and leisure with BFL) and Teal Gove (manager of hockey development with Hockey Canada), identified Samm’s passion for female hockey, her knowledge of the game and her focus on fundamentals as some of the many reasons she was honoured with this award.
