Dear GHC Parents and Players,

As we begin our 2021 Winter Skills sessions under the Government of Alberta’s Step 1 phase, we want to remind everyone of our shared responsibilities in making this process advance as safe as possible. All of our Jr. Inferno Sessions will take place at Great Plains Arena and ECTAS. Parents must follow the capacity and spectator policies of the arenas.

Great Plains

  • NO spectators will be allowed in Great Plains.
  • Female Dressing Room Supervisor(s) will be allowed to remain in the building if the number of participants on the ice does not reach the maximum of 20 individuals.
  • For U7 to U11 age divisions, one parent per Group can assist the coach(es) within the double doors of Great Plains. Masks and physical distancing protocol must be followed.

ECTAS

  • ECTAS will allow one parent per player to enter the arena. However, it is preferred that older players be dropped off at the rink. Masks and physical distancing protocol must be followed.

We understand these requirements will be difficult for parents. Everyone involved in this process has a daughter (or daughters) in GHC and we love watching them play. However, we all have a role to play in keeping our players and coaches safe and maintaining our relationship with our ice providers. Please do not be the parent whose actions affect this.

GHC is full of remarkable people, and we know that each and every one of you will do your part in making sure that this season will be a success.

Sincerely,
